Welcome New Head of Tudor House

Welcome to our new Head of Tudor House.

 

The King’s School is delighted to welcome Mr Adam Larby as the new Head of Tudor House. 

Adam is a passionate, life-loving Christian educational leader who has a wealth of experience to bring to the Tudor House community. Adam joins the Tudor House residency with his wife Lyndel and their four children.

“I am looking forward to meeting the Tudor House community and celebrating the 125th Anniversary of the School with former, current and future Tudorians,” says Adam.

Before joining us at The King’s School, Tudor House Adam spent over six years in the role of Deputy Head of Shore’s North Sydney Preparatory School. There he made significant contributions through the development and co-creation of many new initiatives. More recently, Adam took on the role of Acting Head of the Preparatory School at Shore while the Head of Prep was on Long Service Leave.

Adam brings an abundance of educational experience to Tudor House. He has completed a Masters in Educational Leadership (University of NSW); a Masters in Teaching (University of Sydney); and a Bachelor of Arts (University of Sydney) majoring in Psychology and Asian Studies. More recently, Adam has completed a Certificate in School Management and Leadership (Harvard University) and has commenced a Diploma of Biblical Theology (Moore Theological College).

In the year ahead, Adam looks forward to optimising Tudor House’s 169-acre campus, with initiatives such as the redevelopment of the mountain bike track and further use of the beehives introduces to campus over the summer. 

“I can’t wait to share the first batch of Tudor House honey with our community,” he says.

The King’s School, Tudor House are looking forward to the many positive contributions he will bring to our community and are excited for his journey with us ahead.
