Bruce and Miranda Little (Staff ’91-’01)

Their journey with Tudor House began in January 1991, when he joined the staff as Housemaster of Medley House, after four years at The King’s School, Gowan Brae. Miranda and he arrived with their nine-month-old daughter, Cassandra and in the years that followed, their family grew when Chelsie was born in 1993 and Cameron was born in 1994.

Those early days in Medley House were full of energy and possibility. As their family expanded, so too did their home. The lower ground M Dorm was transformed to include a kitchen, lounge, laundry and an extra bedroom. The addition of the Medley Courtyard further enhanced the living space, creating a warm and welcoming environment for both their family and the boarders in their care.

Following his appointment as Assistant Headmaster, they moved to Cottage 2, tucked just down the hill. A few years later, when the new Headmaster’s residence was completed, they relocated once again, this time to the Deputy’s cottage next door.

In early 2002, they farewelled the Highlands and moved to Port Macquarie to help establish a new school where he served as Head of Primary.

Today, their eldest daughter Cassandra is a teacher and married to Hamish Boyd-Jones (Old Tudorian ‘00, and TKS Old Boy ‘06). They have two daughters. Chelsie runs a dance school in Moree and is married to Daniel Assef and they have three children. Cameron, after completing studies in Finance, works in mergers and acquisitions in Sydney.

He stepped down from his role in 2020 and Miranda and he have since embraced retirement. With caravan in tow, they have travelled extensively throughout Australia and enjoyed a number of overseas adventures. They continue to live in Port Macquarie and he now serves on the Board of The Nature School, another innovative educational initiative in their region.

In February 2025, they returned as a family to visit Tudor House. It was deeply rewarding to witness the School’s continued growth and evolution. Walking the grounds brought back a flood of cherished memories, reminders of the remarkable years they spent as part of the Tudor House community.
