Tim was a teacher and house master at Tudor House from 1969 until we moved to Pulteney Grammar School in Adelaide in 1974 where he was in turn, Deputy Head of the Junior School, then Master of the Middle School and finally, until his retirement some 25 years later, Director of Daily Activities.
He will be remembered with affection by many Old Tudorians, those who progressed to The King’s School and the staff who knew him during our precious years at Tudor House.
We shared many fond memories of our time there, Headmasters Edward Dixon and Bob Darke, masters Ron Stein, Phillip Richards, Miss Rutherford, Kevin King and others – Les Mann, Sister. Marshall-Needham, the Windleys – the list goes on. Our three children were born in nearby Bowral Hospital and were practically raised in their earliest years by the boys in Inman House.
Tim was the provider of much information contained in Chris Ashton’s “Tudor House: The First Hundred Years”, a copy of which will always hold pride of place in our bookshelves.
Tim died peacefully and at home, surrounded by his family in April 2022.
