Thriving in Wonderland
Tudor House is a little boy's paradise. There is no other school in Australia like Tudor House – and we would go further, stating our school is so unique you won’t find the opportunities we provide anywhere else. We are that exceptional!

Space – one acre per boy!
There are few schools that can boast the space we offer. For city boys, having a school that is a farm connects them with nature. Time seems to slow. Situated in the Southern Highlands also allows boys the opportunity to feel through seasons. Unlike many areas in Australia, we have defined seasons of change winter, spring, summer and autumn. Boys are reminded of change in their daily lives.

The Farm = Freedom and Fun
70 hectares of rolling farmland. This provides boys with wonderful opportunities to roam, to explore creeks and dams, to build cubbies, to ride bikes, to camp and to appreciate the beauty of the Australian countryside. In today's world there is little opportunity for boys to be able to freely play in parks but at Tudor House this luxury is granted with trust.
At Tudor House the boys have the opportunity to explore with friends, to accept challenges, to make mistakes and learn from actively participating on our pastures.
The Importance of Play
At Tudor we believe in giving boys experiences of a life time because they will last a life time. Social connectedness is developed through free play. Where many schools reduce playtime, we increase it. For boys, learning to play together and explore together build relationships. Our grounds are extensive and well-supervised. Boys are able to explore and gain a sense of wonderment and awe from their surroundings.

Playground Licence System – giving boys responsibility
We have implemented our Playground Licence system, which allows boys the opportunity to explore areas that are suited to their age and level of responsibility. Ask any boy what makes Tudor special and they will chorus – Freedom. Our formula is a little more considered. We grant freedom because boys have earned our trust. Boys earn our trust because they have been responsible. The playground licence system rewards boys with greater space for exploration but also restricts as a consequence of poor choices.
It simply isn’t possible to detail all elements of Tudor House. Why not register for a tour by contacting Mr David Musgrove, our Director of Enrolments, or phone the school on (02) 4868 0000. We are certain you will be pleasantly surprised!
