[my son] is enjoying boarding at Tudor House immensely! What a wonderful school! I never thought I would ever hear my son say that he loves his school!

Mother of new boarder 2012

We live in Sydney and prior to that our son was at the local public school. We sent him to Tudor House for years 5 and 6 - he is now living at home and cycling up the hill to his high school.
Unequivocably the best thing we have done.

Hattie, Mother of Boarder 2009-10

"What did Tudor mean to me?
It meant friendship and adventure. From sharing other boys' birthday cakes to building billy carts. Flying foxes and blue ribbon competitions, even performing arts. Tears of yearning for home as the siren rang at five were nothing on the tears of loss - as we left Tudor for the very last time."

James Forbes, 1978-1980

"Apart from schoolwork, we were taught the importance of good manners, respect to women and our elders – and in sport to be gracious when winning and to take defeat with a smile.  Personally, I will never forget my Tudor years.  They were by far the best schooldays of my life."

Boarding Old Boy, 1930-33

"The freedom to develop and mature at your own pace. The best place for a young boy"

Digby A, recent Old Boy

As a Mum who did not fully understand how wonderful and magical this School was before our boys embarked on the Tudor adventure , I am a complete convert after seeing what Tudor House has done for my sons.  Our boys have both said that it was a fantastic  experience and really prepared them for senior School.
I have noticed that you can walk into a room anywhere and recognise any Tudor House boy if he is lighting the fire......as it will be the Kahiba way !!

Lisa A, boarding parent

When you see over forty 10 -12 year olds, ripsticking through the courtyards in their pyjamas after dinner, or exploring the expansive grounds of this little icon in Australia’s educational heritage, it’s 'hands up' stuff. There is no competing with that kind of fun.

Looking back now, my years at Tudor House were amongst the best years of my life.  We just had so much fun. And the friends I made are still with me.

Tudor House Old Boy

I wanted my time at Tudor House to go on forever. It was the kind of childhood I want my own sons to experience. We climbed trees, made forts, raced our billy carts. And somehow I learned enough to eventually become a partner in a Sydney law firm.

Tudor House Old Boy

This is the first time ever he is happy at school, that is huge. He is coming home with joy for the first time in his life.

We chose Tudor in the first place - to build the character of our children whilst still allowing them to be little boys. I wanted the Tom Sawyer experience for my kids. My son the other day was becoming very sentimental and said, "I would not have been able to do all of these things ANYWHERE."
