Weekends at Tudor House are full of activities and excursions for all the students to enjoy. Recently, fourteen of our boarders headed down to Kiama Harbour for a fishing expedition organised by Boarding Master Tim Jenkinson. The day began with bacon and eggs cooked on the BBQ at Medley House, followed by a fun bus trip down to Kiama Wharf for some fishing.
For some of the boarders this was their first time ever fishing – D’Arcy Vaughan Jones, Rhys Haddleton-Burgess and Hugo Wood all caught something during the morning! The kitchen kindly packed two portable stoves and sent some hot-dogs which the students and Mr Jenkinson cooked at the end of the wharf for lunch.
The weather was absolutely beautiful and perfect for a picnic lunch followed by a swim at Kiama rock pool. Once everybody was full of food and tired, the bus was brought back around to head back up the hill to Tudor House and the comfort of Medley House.
