Give your son a head start

Join us for Transition - our ‘head start’ program

Our transition program is designed for little boys who are pre-kindergarten.  Transition prepares boys for 'Big School'. It concentrates on early literacy and numeracy foundations as well as social and organization skills.

Transition is easier at Tudor

We believe in boys.

This program is tailor-made for boys.  There is no compulsion to stay on for our Kindy class, but we feel you probably will!

Our Transition program is special for boys

Did you know...

  • Boys on average are twelve months behind girls in the early schooling years in reading
  • A vast majority of behaviour 'issues' in Infants surround boys
  • Boys are more likely to be deemed 'immature' or 'too young for school' in co-education schools
  • Boys need hands-on active learning opportunities
  • Boys work best in social structures, where the learning goals are clear and chunked to suit time parameters

At Tudor House School we nurture confidence and grow independence by cherishing childhood.  There is no where like us!

Tudor House nurtures confidence by cherishing childhood

It is clear from research that we need to support boys at the early stages of learning - and not just leave it until they get to high school.

Enrolling in Transition

Why not register for a tour by contacting Mr David Musgrove, our Director of Enrolments, or phone the school on (02) 4868 0000.  We are certain you will be pleasantly surprised!

Testimonials

We live in Sydney and prior to that our son was at the local public school. We sent him to Tudor House for years 5 and 6 - he is now living at home and cycling up the hill to his high school.
Unequivocably the best thing we have done.

Hattie, Mother of Boarder 2009-10

Why Boys Only

It’s okay to be a boy (at Tudor House). And boys can be more…

Why Invest in Primary

The early learning years are foundational. Is your son forming the skills and attitudes he needs?

Why Tudor House

We encourage boys to be boys and to enjoy the challenges of childhood. We also teach them about respect, responsibility, relationships, reading writing and ‘rithmetic…

Testimonials

"We chose Tudor in the first place - to build the character of our children whilst still allowing them to be little boys. I wanted the Tom Sawyer experience for my kids..."
