How To Enrol

Tudor House is one of Australia's best-known primary schools and aims to be a national leader in boys' education, providing a holistic and purposeful education that will direct social, emotional and physical growth. Our Headmaster has co-authored a book "Thriving at School" on this subject.

Feedback from parents of current students, and Old Boys, remains a powerful means of generating interest in the School.

Information

Prospective parents are invited to seek further information about Tudor House by:

  • Speaking to current parents or Old Boys. Our Registrar can provide contact details on request.
  • Downloading a Prospectus, or applying to the School for a printed copy by calling +02 4868 0044 or by emailing our Registrar.
  • Looking through this comprehensive website and getting a feel for the school
  • Visiting the school and meeting our Headmaster - personal tours can be arranged and we also hold Open Days.

Make an Enrolment Application

As prospective parents you are invited to register your interest in Tudor House by submitting an Enrolment Registration Form,  indicating anticipated year of entry and level and whether a boarder or day boy place is desired. This form can be downloaded from the website here, or you can call the School and ask for a printed copy to be posted to you along with a Prospectus. Your completed Form should be accompanied by whatever relevant documentation you have to hand and payment of an Administration Fee of $224.40 (includes merchant handling charges).

We will acknowledge receipt of your Registration Form and advise that your son has been placed on a waiting list to enter the School at a particular level in a nominated year.

Entry Points to Tudor House are predominantly Transition, Kindergarten and Year 5  (day places, and up to 30 boarder places). Other entry points are offered subject to availability.

Interview

Tudor House does not support a chronological waiting list. All applicants are placed on a Registered Students List and invited to attend an assessment and/or interview with our Headmaster in the 12 month period prior to anticipated enrolment. One-on-one interviews are conducted with applicants by the Headmaster. Any documentation not already supplied should be provided to the Registrar at this point.

Scholarship applicants will be administered a test on the School grounds.  This assessment is supplemented by interview and evidence of co-curricular, sporting or leadership potential.

Decision

Based on the process outlined above, an Offer of a Place to attend the School may be made. Such an Offer will nominate year and level of entry and whether the place is as a day student or boarder.

If you decide to accept the offered place on your son's behalf, you must send us a signed acceptance form (both parents and/or guardian need to sign an acceptance form as this becomes the binding contract between the School and families) and the refundable Family Admission Fee of $1800, which will be acknowledged and a place confirmed.

More information regarding enrolment at Tudor House can be obtained by contacting the Director of Enrolments, Mr David Musgrove on +02 4868 0044 or sending an email with your inquiry.
