Sport and PE:

Sport has always been important in the life of most boys. Whilst not all boys enjoy the challenges, most appear to seek the physical activity and the opportunity to be out and doing something with others.

Tudor House encourages all boys to "have a go" at new sports, at team and individual activities, at pushing their limits and at learning new skills. Competition is good for young boys. If handled the correct way, it encourages boys to strive to improve their skills and builds character as boys learn from the loss and the win.

The School participates in competitive sports through the IPSHA (NSW) sports network. Our Rugby, Soccer, Cricket and Softball teams compete in the Saturday competitions with other schools.

Our selected Swimming, Athletics and Cross Country teams compete in IPSHA and the Southern Highland Independent Primary Schools' Competitions.

The Alpine Program is in two parts: The Ski Team (Competition) and the Ski Club (Recreational). Boys select which one they wish to be part of.

Sport is compulsory for all boys from Year 3 to Year 6. Kindergarten to Year 2 are encouraged to participate but it is not compulsory on Saturday mornings.

Sportsmanship is a feature of the boys' sporting life at Tudor House. Everyone is encouraged and learns to appreciate others and their efforts.

Boys enjoy two afternoons of training a week, from 3:30 - 4:30pm every Monday and Thursday.
