"My overriding memory of childhood is having the freedom to decide which way to go in life and having my parents' support." - Michael Schumaker
Freedom and Fun

The boys are encouraged to do the things once taken for granted - to climb trees, to ride bikes, to fall over and to get up, to make mistakes, to get dirty, to camp and to grow gardens. In a technologically orientated world, the simple pleasures of being able to roam hills, creeks and orchards have been forgotten.
Boys learn in a variety of ways and the challenges in and out of the classroom allow for all boys and their development.
We offer experiences that last a lifetime. Days such as Kite Day and Billy Cart Derby Day make us different. We let boys be boys.

Kite Day
To conclude our Grandparents' Day, we celebrate Kite Day. This sees the boys take to our rolling fields to fly hundreds of kites. The connections formed on this day between three generations of our community are treasures we safeguard. To see a sky full with fluttering kites makes learning wonderful.
Billy Cart Derby Day
This is a day that is not for the faint-hearted. Dads spend hours building billy carts for their sons to race down the tracks at Tudor House. The competition is legendary, but so too is the camaraderie as boys push each other at top speed to take out the race. Watching the enjoyment (and terror!) on the faces of our competitors is another memory unique to Tudor House. We are a very special school.
