Medical Care

We have our own Sister to care for our boys' medical needs

Helping Hands are part of our school

the school has a trained nurse and 'hospital'.  If a boy falls ill or has an accident, our school sister will care for the boy, in a setting that is homely and caring.  Quarter Deck is our hospital, and it has all of the resources needed for medical attention.  Busy parents can feel more at ease, knowing their son is in safe and caring hands.

If the matter requires hospital care, we will provide support as well, liaising with our school doctor and the medical centre.

Individual needs can also be met, with Sister arranging special physio appointments.  Our staff will take/return the boy to the appointments for boarding parents if requested.

The school also operates a nut minimisation policy, to assist our care for children who suffer from anaphylaxis.

Special medications are dispensed by our School Nurse.

Parents need to inform the school of any medical requirements.
