Spiritual care is the passing on of Christ's message from one generation to the next. The Christian message of Love, Hope and Faith builds a conscious awareness of our inner thoughts and creates empathy, care and respect for all individuals.
Prayer allows boys to reflect and find special moments to consider others, and meditate deeply about issues pertinent to them. In the busyness of modern life, finding a few moments to consider self and others is a great grounding.
Grace is said before and after meals to foster a traditional respect for those less fortunate. Boys are selected to say grace, and find responsibility and respect in standing before others to lead a traditional grace.
Charities are supported and the boys are encouraged to consider the importance of giving, building up further empathy and care.
All boys attend Chapel services weekly. During these traditional services, a bible reading is considered, hymns and psalms are sung, and a short message is given.
These opportunities build a boy's connections with a greater good, and nurture a Christian outlook built on respect, compassion and care.
