Academic Life
Tudor House has a focus on striving for excellence in academic pursuits. In so many ways, you will find a comprehensive education for primary boys more accessible than many think. This is an excellent school that prepares boys for life.
Our value-added is clear - highlighted in the academic growth of our boys in standardised assessments. We track progress. Below is our 2012 Kindergarten boys' growth in Reading via the PIPS (http://www.education.uwa.edu.au/pips) assessments. Tudor House boys are the red line - and it shows we started the year in Kindergarten below the State average (all students) and concluded way above.

These excellent academic results are also mirrored in our 2012 NAPLAN achievements - http://www.tudorhouse.nsw.edu.au/news/excellent_academic_naplan_results

We specialise in boys’ education and in so doing address head-on the global concerns relating to the falling standards associated with being a boy in today’s schools.

Holistic education – teaching the whole child
At Tudor, we focus on academic success aligned with social, emotional, spiritual, creative and physical well-being. We develop specific programs to maximise our influence on all our young boys' minds, hearts and hands. We focus on a model of learning that has been specifically developed for Tudor House. Our philosophy is considerate and reflects thoughtfulness. It draws together research from leading thinkers around the world. We look at the broader elements of learning – integrating into our programs an explicit focus on EQ as well as IQ. Our vision guides all that we do. It is child-centred and boy-centric.

Comprehensive offering – there can be no compromise
What we offer is unique and cannot be matched in its entirety by any other primary school. How we structure our programs allow all to consider the benefits of an education at Australia’s icon of primary school education…

Evidence-based programs to maximise learning outcomes
As an independent school, we harness evidence-based research to integrate the latest directions from different states and nations that are leading advances in learning and teaching: Finland, USA, the United Kingdom, NSW Board of Studies syllabuses and the Australian Curriculum.

Integrating technology
And we integrate the rapid changes in technology and e-learning to develop systems and programs that are truly unique.
Tudor cares to make a difference. We take the lead in learning.
Innovation strengthened by tradition
We want our boys to experience Life! We yearn to engage our boys' interest and wonder, to become motivated, passionate, caring and compassionate. We advocate responsible risk-taking. Our focus is on celebrating the unique opportunities of Tudor House - an icon in Australia's educational landscape. Our focus is on excellence in education. Learning is life-long and so we have carefully considered our curriculum to best meet the needs of primary-aged boys.
Striving to find every boy success
Our concern is to ensure all find success. Delivering a broad holistic curriculum means we can expand a boy's essential understandings while engaging them in activities that are fun and challenging. We believe there is no other school that offers such unparalleled scope for boys.
